When you have more than one dog, mealtimes can be chaotic. My pups, Charlie and Jazz, have completely different tastes and dietary needs. Buying food for them can be tricky, to say the least. But when I found Ollie, with its personalized meals tailored to each and every dog, I instantly knew I’d found a solution for life.
Before I discovered Ollie, my beloved but often-stubborn dogs tried and rejected many different dog food brands, turning their respective noses up at one choice of food, then another—but never simultaneously agreeing on the same likes and dislikes!
The tastes and preferences of my two fur babies couldn’t be more different. Jazz is my adorably fussy little monster with a sensitive stomach. I call her my prima donna, as she’s not going to tuck into her dinner unless she’s 100% happy! I found she had stomach issues after eating conventional dog food brands, and she didn’t like a lot of the mass-produced food, leaving most of it in her bowl. She was starting to lose weight, and I needed to find her a clean, nutritious dog food brand that would tempt her to eat without hurting her stomach.
Charlie, on the other hand, is my greedy boy. He’ll eat anything—except for kibble, which is tough for my budget and scheduling when most dog food for sensitive stomachs is kibble-based, so he and Jazz can’t share the same food. He also has the unattractive habit of scarfing down the contents of Jazz’s bowl when she’s not looking, and was starting to pack on the pounds. Not ideal!
I needed to find dog food that both of my pups enjoyed, that was suitable for Jazz’s sensitive stomachs and Charlie’s kibble-refusing tendencies. Plus with two dogs, I’m running around enough as it is without needing to worry about buying and storing two totally separate brands of dog food (not to mention the cost of that!). As if that wasn’t enough, every time I open my pantry, a tower of Charlie’s canned dog food spills at my feet. Where else could I turn but to Ollie?
Ollie’s website states that ‘they’re the easiest way to feed your dog, paws down,’ and so far myself, Jazz, and Charlie have to agree.
This modern, convenient dog food brand starts out by quizzing you on key information about your dogs (hello, Jazz’s sensitive stomach and Charlie’s kibble hatred!) to fully understand what your pets need from their food. This in itself was a relief to me, as it felt like I was finally getting some help and advice rather than trying to organise and keep all my pets happy and well-fed by myself.
Then, Ollie serves up meal plan ideas (but you’re free to customize it any way you like, crucially. I added some extra choice to Charlie’s plan to keep him stimulated). Everything is formulated by vet nutritionists, with personalized nutritional recommendations and flexible pricing. The choice of fresh food and gently baked kibble they offer made everything so easy. And all their meals are human-grade, so you know they’re high quality.
Next came the dog food delivery in the mail. It set both Jazz’s and Charlie’s Tails wagging when they smelled the package arrive! When they tried their first Ollie meal, it was clear I’d found the solution to all my pet food problems. They loved Ollie’s whole food, high quality meals made with easily recognisable meats, veggies, fruits, and grains.
Ollie is making my life with two dogs so much easier, I’m just mad I didn’t switch to this genius dog food brand earlier! They take much of the labor associated with dog care out of the equation entirely. No more shopping for dog food only to find that my dogs don’t like the taste of a particular type, and no more worrying about if my dogs are getting adequate nutrition for their specific health needs and taste preferences. Ollie’s deliveries show up at my front door on a regular basis, and all I have to do is defrost in the fridge and serve.
Jazz’s stomach is a huge fan of Ollie’s freshly made chicken dish with carrots, and their turkey dish with blueberries. The natural, 100% human-grade whole food ingredients, full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, don’t upset her digestive system like conventional dog food does.
Charlie hasn’t met an Ollie dinner or breakfast that he doesn’t like so far (no more enduring dry, overbaked, nutrient-free kibble for him!), and I’m very grateful that his meals come pre-portioned so I can be sure his weight stays where it should. We’re an Ollie family for life now!
